I received my undergraduate degree from Loyola University New Orleans in criminal justice. Later I earned my Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center and am licensed to practice law in Louisiana. My areas of practice are criminal defense and personal injury.
I am a former New Orleans Police Officer and Detective with over 10 years’ experience. During my tenure, I worked in various investigative units including; narcotics, vice, and homicide. While assigned to homicide I was the lead investigator on 20 murders and have played an integral role in many other homicide and death investigations.
My personal police experiences have given me extra insight that many other lawyers simply do not possess, nor can be learned without prior law enforcement investigative experience. This insight will allow me to examine your case not only as an attorney but through the mindset and the lens of an investigator. This will allow me to easily identify where the investigation against you is lacking.
I also apply my investigation experience to my personal injury practice. I am very familiar with numerous law enforcement agencies policies and procedures in regards to their protocol of handling and reporting all types of accidents. This is crucial in many cases.
I am a former U.S. Marine and Iraq War veteran. The U.S. Marine Corps has taught me perseverance and commitment. I will apply these values to your case.
