What You Can Expect From Us
At Egenberg, APLC, we file lawsuits, we try cases. If somewhere along the way a serious settlement offer is proposed, we are openminded and consider all the factors that matter to our client.
This is what we don’t do:
We do not mediate. If you want to mediate, our firm is not the right match for you. Our experience is that mediation is expensive and mostly a waste of time. If you could have worked it out with the opposing party, it would never have gotten to the point of hiring lawyers.
We do not accept cases with instruction from the client not to file suit. If you want to “keep your name out of it” or for whatever reason do not want to file a lawsuit, our firm cannot represent you. We are however happy to evaluate your case for no fee and refer it to counsel that can work within that parameter.
We do not fight “for the principle” in civil matters. Lawyering is not a sport for us. It’s our livelihood and its the overall wellbeing of our clients and their families.
Our firm is simply not the right match for clients who fight “for the principle” of the matter.
